Craft can be become expensive with all the gadgets and gizmos available out there, so we will aim to come up with cost effective ideas too!
Wildflower season is here!
Spring has sprung and the flowers have all come out of hibernation, putting on a glorious show. Starting up North of the state of Western Australia, our native flowers put on a unique display up until November in the southern part of the state. No picking allowed, they are protected.

Our Black "Florist" Cheesecake - based loosely on a Black Forest cake and decorated with chocolate moulded flowers - a quick and easy way to create a floral design that could be used on other cakes and desserts.
Try something a little different - How about jazzing up your next get together by creating a floral design in butter to go with the bread. Everyone is too scared to be the first to dig in, in case they 'spoil' it, but it creates plenty of discussion!
Plasticine flowers were a highlight at the Chelsea flower show in 2009.
